Glazier's in Las Vegas to close

by Pamela Riemenschneider, Jan 05, 2018

After eight years in business, Glazier’s Marketplace in Las Vegas is closing.

The independent retailer announced the closure on its Facebook page, citing family illness.

Smith’s, a Kroger Co. banner, purchased the location, according to an article in the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Glazier’s was known for its wide selection of East Coast specialties, ethnic foods, “quirky” touches, like player piano music in the food court, and an extensive selection of deli and prepared foods.

The company said on its Facebook page it will remain open “a few more weeks” to sell off inventory.
