The Food and Drug Administration said 4Earth is recalling multiple brands of organic Vegetable Medley, vonventional Vegetable Medley, and organic Whole Carrots due to a possible contamination with E. coli O121:H19.

These products are part of a larger recall initiated by Grimmway Farms involving organic carrots.

4Earth Farms said Grimmway Farms notified the company that carrots used in the Vegetable Medleys and Whole Organic Carrots may have been contaminated with E. coli O121:H19. No illnesses have been reported to 4Earth Farms to date, according to the announcement.

The company said all items impacted by the recall have been expired for more than three weeks.

The organic and conventional Vegetable Medleys and the organic Whole Carrots subject to recall by 4Earth Farms were distributed in New Hampshire, Florida, California, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Illinois and Colorado at retail stores and distributors. Retailers include Albert’s Organics, Walmart, O.K. Produce, UNFI, Kennedy Produce and Sprouts Farmers Market, according to the announcement.
