The Food and Drug Administration says Duda Farm Fresh Foods Inc. issued a voluntary precautionary advisory of a single production lot of washed and ready-to-eat Marketside celery sticks.

The company issued the advisory for 1,587 cases of the product due to the possibility of contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. Georgia Department of Agriculture testing yielded a positive test result at a Georgia store location, according to the announcement.

The FDA said the product is no longer in stores, but consumers may have frozen the item for later use. To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with this product, the FDA reported.

Specific products involved are four-count 4-inch/1.6-ounce bundle packs of Marketside celery sticks sold at Walmart stores and are identified by having a UPC code 681131161510 on back of bag, with best-if-used-by date March 3, 2025 and lot code P047650 on the front of the bag.

This FDA said this voluntary advisory does not apply to any other Marketside or Duda Farm Fresh Foods-produced products.
