What will you do for a smoothie crafted with organic, fresh fruit and vegetables at a trade show?

Attendees can ride a customized smoothie bike at booth 338 at the New York Produce Show Nov. 29 to Dec. 2, where Morning Kiss Organic will blend Refresher smoothies featuring fresh produce and herbs, according to a news release.

The smoothie will blend cucumber, lime, pineapple, mango and mint, Nelly Czajkowski of DiSilva Fruit said in the release. “Come take an invigorating spin on our smoothie bike and then enjoy the fruits of your labor.”

Morning Kiss Organic, along with Chelsea, Mass.-based Arrowfarms sister companies DiSilva Fruit and Gold Bell, will promote its full line of organic and conventional produce, including the herb program, the organic melon program and the expanded and redesigned bagged juice oranges.

Arrowfarms is taking a “return to value” tactic that includes lower costs, operational efficiency, reducing food waste and managing demand, according to the release.

The family of companies is working to achieve more value in several ways:

  • Lower costs for partners by focusing on private brands and private label opportunities over highly marketing national brands.
  • Use just-in-time deliveries to add efficiency, maintain freshness and optimize the supply chain.
  • Meet consumer trends with smaller pack sizes to reduce food waste.

The goal is to manage demand by anticipating and buffering for disruptions within the supply chain and market volatility, the release said.
