VANCOUVER, British Columbia—Team CPMA may have defeated the home town favorite Team BCPMA, but there are no losers in the Half Your Plate Hockey Classic.
The event, in its fourth year, is so popular with participants that it has expanded to include a 3-on-3 tournament prior to the big game.
Canadian Olympic medalists Meghan Agosta, Brianne Jenner, Emily Clark and Blayre Turnbull participated in pre-game photos and autographs, and as competitors on the ice.
The event raises awareness for the Half Your Plate program, as well as the Ladies First Hockey Foundation, which supports Team Canada and the Canadian Women’s Olympic team.
