The Idaho Potato Commission’s annual retail display contest will pamper a participant with a trip to a spa.

The Idaho Potato Lovers Display Contest will reward a randomly-drawn participant with a trip for two to the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley, Ariz.

The annual contest will reward more than $150,000 in cash and prizes for innovative displays.

Hormel is partnering with the commission again on the promotion, with displays featuring Hormel Real Bacon Toppings, according to a news release.

“The IPC display contest inspires shoppers by bringing together items from across the store that create simple, delicious meals and sides,” Meghan Baumann, brand manager of Hormel Real Bacon Toppings, said in the release.

Fresh Gourmet Crispy Veggies are also a returning retail display contest partner with the Idaho Potato Commission.

“The creativity shown by the in-store displays inspires shoppers to pick up some of their favorite produce products and explore new pairings, while giving retailers an opportunity to build the produce basket,” Ting Sheng, shopper marketing and promotions manager for Fresh Gourmet Co., said in the release. “We look forward to seeing what our retail partners come up with this year.”

The contest runs from Feb. 1 through the end of March. Details on entering the contest, which has cash prizes for first through fifth place in three retail size divisions (1-5 registers, 6-9 registers, and 10-plus registers) is on the commission’s website.

The display contest also has a military commissary component.
