Seattle-based Amazon and Meredith Corp. just announced a partnership for AmazonFresh and Allrecipes.com integrated meal kit solutions.

Allrecipes.com will now feature AmazonFresh as a retailer embedded in the site’s top recipes, which allows viewers to purchase ingredients and have them delivered same day.

Allrecipes.com has 80 million users and 1.5 billion annual visits, and has had grocery shopping functionality incorporated into its site previously, including geo-targeted grocery offers, the new partnership is an expansion of that capability.

Users who select AmazonFresh as their retailer of choice can send all ingredients and products required for the recipe to an AmazonFresh shopping cart, with detailed product and pricing information.

The launch includes highest-trafficked recipes on the site, according to a news release, and will eventually expand to the site’s entire catalog.

“We are proud to lead the way in food innovation for home cooks and for our brand partners,” said Jon Werther, Meredith national group president, in a news release. “Our integration with Amazon will make it easier for millions of home cooks to order all of the ingredients needed for dinner that night, or for a weekly meal plan – and have them delivered to their doorstep within hours.”
