This morning, I received an email from Amazon.com offering $8.62 off a $50 purchase, today only.
What is this all about?
Amazon was crowing about their recent No. 1 ranking on The Harris Poll 2017 Reputation Quotient. What a funny way to celebrate ranking on a list, but hey, I’m sure a lot of people enjoyed the discount. The poll surveys more than 23,000 people on six corporate reputation dimensions:
- Social responsibility
- Emotional appeal
- Products
- Services
- Vision
- Leadership
- Financial performance
- Workplace environment
The Harris Poll publishes the Top 100 Most Visible, along with their rankings. A score of 80 and above is considered Excellent, 75-79 is Very Good, 70-74 is Good, 65-69 is Fair, 55-64 is Poor, 50-54 is Very Poor and Below 50 is Critical.
Here are the grocery retailers in the Top 100 Most Visible, with their scores:
- Amazon.com 86.27
