Glenn Troyer Farms is a family owned and operated third generation farm located in the northwest corner of Pennsylvania in the rural community of Waterford. Located about 15 miles south of Lake Erie, it was founded in 1946 by Glenn Troyer and his brother, John. With its primary crop as potatoes it became known throughout the state as one of the largest potato producers. Over the years as the farm has diversified, strawberries and asparagus have been added creating a unique harvest of crops that begins in late-April with asparagus, and continues every month into November, ending with the harvest of soybeans. Asparagus, strawberries, and potatoes can be purchased at the farm during their respective seasons.
