Southpoint Industrial Supply was established as a Canadian Corporation in April 1997. The decision was made to open a bearing and power transmission distributorship to service the local area. The emerging greenhouse/agricultural industry became a large growth market that allowed S.I.S. to become involved in sorting and packing equipment and supplying parts and components to service this industry. The solid partnerships that have been established with local customers have been the result of business integrity, dedication, hard work and the desire to satisfy customer needs. These important relationships have also extended to suppliers in order to provide customers with fast, reliable, cost-effective service and components. In 2013 S.I.S. was acquired by Process & Steam Specialties which opened the door to new product lines such as valves, pipe fittings and safety supplies. S.I.S. understands that providing great customer service and supplying fast, cost-effective solutions are the pillars of any successful business.
