The Kimball family at Flat Hill Orchards invites you to enjoy the view and taste the fresh fruit from this third generation farm. Roger and Louise Kimball of Littleton, MA purchased the farm in the 1950's. Roger's son, Gordon, bought the farm in 1979 and established it as Flat Hill Orchards. Originally, this neighborhood was home to many dairy farms which are now scenic fields with roaming horses. This 80 acre orchard harvests twelve varieties of apples and just as many nectarines and peaches. The farm stand opens on August 1st with fresh peaches, apples and colorful mums. By early September, MacIntosh season begins. Macouns and many other varieties end the month and at that time we make custom fruit baskets. October brings in the autumn colors with decorative pumpkins and gourds. The stand also offers many varieties of fruit pies. In December we offer Christmas wreaths and late varieties of apples. Our season ends on December 24th. Please come and visit.
