L & L Farms was created in 1980 (renamed L & L Ag Production LLC in 2007) as a partnership between Larry and Lorraine Bauman and their oldest son, Kerrick Bauman.
Our crops initially focused on growing seed products until 1988, when we grew our first crop of dry onions. Over the years, our farm became more focused on expanding the onion acreage and began selling the crop to various packing sheds and processing companies.
In 1996, we created Target Ag Production LLC as the onion storage and packing for the onions from L & L Farms. In 2003, we created Onions Direct LLC as a direct sales company that sells, bills, and collects 100 percent of L & L Ag Production onions and purchases onions in California and other areas for a year-round supply of onions for our customers.
We continue to expand our onion acreage and storage, packing and processing facilities to their present form today. L & L Ag Production LLC also produces commercial radish seed, snap bean seed, carrot seed, sweet corn seed, field corn seed, certified wheat seed, dry pea seed, sweet corn (processor) and onions.
