Covilli is a small family owned company, farming organic vegetables since the early 90’s. We have a robust Food Safety Program and we are certified Fair Trade, we are a fair employer and respect our farm-workers and their families by offering free housing, in-house schools, scholarships, community donations, etc. At Covilli, we have a strong environmental commitment. We reuse, recycle, use drip irrigation in all our crops for water conservation purposes, make our own compost to make sure it’s done right and fully organic. To protect the integrity of our soils we also have a state of the art worm-house and are incorporating local microriza. We enforce intensive Pest Management and Crop Rotation Programs.
We actively participate in the Local Board of Vegetable Health and in the Vegetable and Fruit Grower Association, focused on keeping pests and disease at a low and working with and obtaining support from state and federal funding; working with local growers and supporting each other is another benefit of this participation. We create good food, that nourishes our Earth, our children and your children and in this, we take great pride. We are Growing Quality by Tradition.
