AgraServ has been conducting agricultural research since 1987 and was founded by Lloyd Haderlie who earned his Ph.D.in weed science from the University of Illinois. The business is currently being managed by Steve Bergsten who has been with the company since 2014. AgraServ is located in American Falls, Idaho in the heart of potato and sugar beet country. We have about 60 acres of a silt loam soil available for research and often work with other growers through out Idaho to conduct research trials.
We conduct most types of pesticide residue trials following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) in a variety of crops. We also conduct efficacy type trials evaluating the effects of different fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, fertilizers, and growth regulators on crop growth and performance. We have vast experience conducting GMO/APHIS regulated trials on a variety of crops including alfalfa, canola, potatoes, sugar beets, and wheat and are highly trained and knowledgeable on the regulations and requirements for conducting such studies.
At AgraServ, our mission is to conduct reliable, high quality, and unbiased research to help develop new products for the agricultural industry. Our staff is small but well-trained and experienced in Ag research, which helps prevent mistakes and increases the quality of research.
