Canaan Trading Company was founded in 1993 by Mr. Alvin Cheung & Family and is dedicated to providing the best food supplies to the community which includes Oriental food in Asian markets and Latin food in Hispanic markets throughout the state of Florida.
In October 2003, Canaan Trading Company moved to its current facility with 85,000 square feet of warehouse space equipped with a state of the art freezer and cooler. With the new facility, Canaan Trading Company has expanded its product line which includes Oriental Food Products (Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, and Korean), sushi-grade fresh and frozen seafood, chicken, pork, and beef, fresh produce as well as restaurant-related paper goods and janitorial supplies. In addition, the company exports Asian beer and wine. Canaan Trading Company is also an authorized distributor of Coca Cola Company products in the state of Florida.
In April 2005, Canaan Trading extended its product lines and established the Latin Food Division which targets the Hispanic market in Florida. Our service area has extended throughout the State of Florida, Central America, South America and the Caribbean.
