The Texas International Produce Association (TIPA) was created in 1942 by a group of industry leaders who shared a vision to expand and protect the Texas produce industry. These pioneers understood that by working together they would be able to reap greater benefits, thus TIPA was formed to represent the business, economic, and political interests of the region’s fruits and vegetables.
Today, our organization represents over 250 companies throughout the fresh fruits and vegetables supply chain operating in and through Texas. TIPA’s member companies include growers, shippers, importers, distributors, and allied companies all working in the perishable produce industry.
TIPA is also the association responsible for putting on the Viva Fresh Produce Expo: Gateway to the Americas annual show.
