Tera and James uncovered a need and now demand to provide the freshest and finest produce with specific principles. First, the older produce distributors are “0ld School” and use archaic ordering and billing methods. Chefs and others would rather not leave VM at 2AM everyday to a landline and hope their orders are received and many times not. This website and App provides anytime ordering, transparent pricing and certainty. Clients are also paying too much from other distributors. Older Diesel delivery trucks, fuel costs and high overhead expenses all of which are passed on to the client.
At Eighty Deuce, we are a focused smaller boutique distributor with EV vehicles and are content on being a “high touch” efficient supplier at reduced costs and efficient operation. Buyers are not receiving the best produce. The other companies got so big that they don’t have the time to inspect each produce item and just load a pallet hoping the quality exists. We believe we have obligation to personally inspect every produce order and guarantee it’s quality. These beliefs have proven successful and we hope our clients could not be happier!
Most importantly, Tera and James also observed the inferior produce, high mark up at grocery stores and the general public lack of access to grade A quality produce at wholesale prices. If restaurants can get all the best produce, then why can’t all of us? Thus, direct home/business delivery is now available with combination bundles and add-ons.
