Since 1958, Leonardo’s Produce has been synonymous with quality products and loyal service. Leo came to Detroit from Italy and began selling produce door-to-door. His reputation for honesty and dependability led to the opening of a handful of stores and a loyal client base that was, and still is, treated like family.
Now, over 60 years later, Leo’s son Sam owns and operates the 20-truck operation. He’s brought the business forward from its humble beginnings to a new state-of-the art 30,000 square foot facility to better serve our growing customer base. Currently one of the premier specialty produce vendors in the Detroit area, we carry on Leo’s commitment to providing fresh produce and goods, crafting fresh ideas, and fostering lifelong relationships.
