A family business, we started Topmade Enterprises Ltd. out of our home garage in 1977 to provide rice to friends who owned small take out restaurants nearby. Because there were no wholesale stores in the area carrying what these restaurants needed, our friends had to go to local Asian grocery stores. We wanted to bring those small restaurant owners together to create purchasing volume. We slowly began adding more products, and more customers, until we outgrew our garage. The next step was a warehouse in the industrial area of Ogden. From there, we continued to expand our offerings, services, and reach.
Today, we work out of a 55,000 square foot warehouse located in the Foothills Industrial Area. Including a facility to accommodate further protein processing.
When we first started, we were able to supply products that other distributers didn’t carry while offering excellent service. Now, we are a broad line distributor with a fleet of trucks that service most of southern Alberta from Edmonton to Lethbridge.
Even though we keep growing, we believe in keeping that family-owned feel. We know it’s our reputation for quality that’s made us successful and we’re working to make our customers successful, too. We started our business serving our friends in 1977 and we treat every customer the same way today. It’s the Topmade difference.
