R&C Produce Company has been delivering to its customers since its founding in 1981. Andreas (Andy) Cortessis, the son of Greek immigrants grew up working in his father’s restaurant (Cloverdale Kitchen) where he quickly saw the need for more competitive and expansive produce services. At that time, with one Ford pickup and a handful of Greek restaurants, R&C was born.
Thirty-seven years later the Company has grown exponentially. We are delivering throughout the Triad and to areas as far-reaching as Lake Norman to the West and Burlington to the East. From one truck to over a dozen, and with loyal employees that have worked with R&C for many years, the Cornucopia wrapped trucks are a symbol of our devotion and commitment to hard work, quality, and excellent customer service. We maintain that our superior product quality and word of mouth enabled us to grow our business. Although we continue to expand, we still pride ourselves on our hometown, family feel. After graduating from college, Andy’s son Evan Cortessis has joined the company with hopes of guiding R&C into the future.
