Day Ship Supply, Inc. is a second generation family business in Coos Bay, Oregon started in 1946. Day Ship Supply began as a ship chandlery business servicing the foreign vessels with ship stores that called the Port of Coos Bay and other northwest ports from Washington to California. This side of the business still exists.
The business expanded into the local, full service foodservice distribution world in the 1980’s. Today we service restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, resorts, camps and special events on the southern Oregon and upper northern California coasts. We welcome walk-in trade as well. In our 24,000 square foot facility, we inventory products in all categories, including bread and bakery products, dairy, dry grocery, frozen foods, nationality foods, disposables and paper products, fresh and frozen meats, a full line of fresh produce including fresh cut specialty vegetables, a full line of spices in PC1, PC5 and bulk and specialty foods ( imported cheese, meat and grocery). Our supplier community is very generous with support and follow through.
