Since 1980, it has been the mission of C.A.P., Inc. to provide the the produce industry with all of it's packaging needs. Our founder, Jerry Taylor, began Creative Agricultural Packaging, Inc. after working with fresh & processed produce, was a V.P. for a major flexible packaging company and was honored to be a member of the Board of Directors for the Produce Marketing Association! His vast knowledge & experience has led to many innovative industry firsts! When he worked in the manufacturing industry, he was instrumental in introducing clear plastic for produce packaging. C.A.P., Inc. introduced, for the first time in 1998, their own CapVent™ Bags. This vented produce bag had a revolutionary design, giving it a pre-opened, reclosable zipper, top wicket and bottom gusset. The CapVent™ Bags were used on a variety of items including; grapes, cherries and apricots. This unique concept was the first of it's kind and has adapted into the pouches used extensively throughout the packaging industry!
