It all started with John J Volante I. he started this company selling produce door to door. From there it went to selling to stores, restaurants, and the barges on the river.
Anthony J Volante “Tony” continued the legacy by growing the company even bigger! Tony was a true innovator in the produce industry. He was the first to process vegetables in the Pittsburgh area. One of his early endeavors in this area was by designing equipment for the purposes of shredding red cabbage for coleslaw.
After Tonys passing Roseanne, John, and Anthony continue to follow in their Father and Grandfathers footsteps. We represent three generations of serving fresh quality produce to our customers daily.
