The "Homade" brand was originated in the produce district of Los Angeles in 1947 by a group of New York transplants who had a long history of producing true "Old World" style Kosher pickles for the Jewish community. A1 Pickle Company moved to it's current location in 1972. A1 Pickle is considered to be one of the most reputable producers of Quality Pickle products in the Western United States and the ONLY producer of restaurant quality, bulk packed, certified true Kosher pickles West of the Rockies. We've been located in Los Angeles since our inception and have been a leading Manufacturer and Distributor of Bulk Pickle Products ever since.
We've maintained a steady growth, retained the same Quality and have had a flair for hands on management since our founding. People are, of course, the most important part of any growing organization which is why we look forward to helping each other in our continued growth.
