Established in 1945 by Sal Davi, son of an Italian immigrant fishing family. By 1949, Sal had recruited his younger brothers to help with his increasing successful produce business. Davi Brothers Quality Produce was making deliveries and establishing partnerships all over Contra Costa and Solano Counties. Early customers included Pittsburg Unified School District, US Army Debarkation Facility in Pittsburg, and several independent grocery stores and restaurants.
In the early 1950's the Davi brothers decided to split the company into two separate entities, Davi and Son Quality Produce and our company today, Davi Produce.
Davi Produce has had long standing customers, some for over 35 years, including Mt. View Foods, A.B.C Market, Sylvia's Country Kitchen, Legends at Diablo Creek, and The Walnut Creek School district plus many more!
Our current customers include, Walnut Creek, Mt. Diablo, Liberty Union, and the Oakley Union schools districts. Convalescent Hospitals,cooking schools, local Caterers and both Family and locally owned business all over the Bay Area.
