Legacy Fruit Packers, LLC is a vertically integrated grower, packer and shipper of fresh apples, pears, and cherries with facilities located in Selah, Washington and Wapato, Washington. Formed in January, 2015 it is the combination of the warehouse and packing operations of Larson Fruit Company and Valley Fruit III, LLC. Larson Fruit Orchards and Valley Fruit Orchards own over 3,650 acres of orchard, producing approximately 4 million boxes of company grown fruit.
The packing and storage facilities, as well as the corporate offices sit on a combined 64 acres of land and have over 210,000 bins of on-site cold storage capacity. In September, 2015, Legacy completed the installation of a state of-the-art high speed packing line with the latest sorting and defect detection technology located in Wapato. Combined with an existing commit to pack line and a newly refurbished dedicated pear line in Selah, Legacy is capable of diverse and agile packing operations. Legacy Fruit Packers and its related orchard entities employ over 530 full time employees.
