Makomas is a food and beverage company started by Magbè Savané, a native of Côte d’Ivoire who wanted to share the traditional African recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation in her family.
The drinks that Makomas offers blend exotic ingredients like the superfruit baobab or the leaves of the moringa tea with wonderful organic flavors that are more familiar in other countries like ginger, pineapple, honey and beets. We source some of these ingredients directly from West Africa where they are hand-harvested and grown in sustainable ways. All of Makomas products are free of artificial colors or preservatives and have no added sugar. The beverages and mix-ins are vegan, GMO and gluten-free, and the drinks are bottled in glass that is BPA free.
