Donabedian Farms is a 4th generation farm in Salem, New Hampshire with a committed history and dedication of bringing the freshest produce available to southern New Hampshire and the Merrimack Valley. Historically, our family passion began in the early 1900’s with our great-grandparents growing small field crops. In 1938 our grandmother, father, and uncle added a wholesale food distribution business.
As our business has prospered, we “the current generation” have remained true to our family’s original passion for farming. An outgrowth of that passion is our newly constructed, hydroponic greenhouse facility, especially designed for producing lettuces and herbs 365 days a year. By utilizing the latest sustainable agricultural technologies, Donabedian Farms will further its mission to grow well into the future.
Most importantly, it is our family’s mission not only to grow well into the future, but also to grow the future. Through education and outreach, we strive to inspire in the next generation an appreciation of and desire for locally grown, nutritious foods.
