Oregon Food Bank is the coordinating agency for a statewide network of 21 Regional Food Banks and more than 1,400 food assistance sites providing food to people experiencing hunger throughout Oregon and Clark County, Washington. Through Network collaboration we are able to leverage our collective resources, equitably distribute food and enhance our capacity to serve food insecure people throughout our service area.
Food is acquired through donations from the food industry, individuals, local institutions and national partners of Feeding America, as well as federal allocations of USDA commodities. A system based on current poverty and unemployment rates ensures that food is equitably distributed throughout the Statewide Network according to need.
