Natural Green started as a vision of two young university friends that decided to embrace in a journey that will allow the development of their native communities thru the commercialization of native products with great properties. It is known to the world the amazing variety and potential that the Peruvian Rainforest represents for our humanity and for our world. Is by the existence of this ancient knowledge that these two friends started Natural Green. They always saw in the rain forest a real potential to assist the development of their community and believed that the only way to accomplish this was thru correct and responsible practices of sustainable agriculture.
Elvis, Local from the northern part of the country, grew up in a family of farmers, who always kept in mind the social aspect and the union of land workers. His thoughts of fair-trade and ethical work allowed him to become a local leader in this matter, highly recognized by his peers in college as well as in his community. He always had a big desire to make all his ideas possible. That is why now he assures that the workers are treated fairly, respecting the value of humanity thru the process. This enhances the productions´ quality, facilitating community´s development.
Tito always believed that Peruvian products could be offered to markets with elevated quality standards. His years growing up in Lima where followed by numerous travels overseas, allowing him to be aware of the uniqueness and great potential of the Peruvian products. Adding to this, the experience he had as an accredited auditor for international quality standards provided the needed ingredient to the mix, the certification differentiation that products will have to prove its uniqueness and transparency.
Elvis and Tito, each bring the core values that made Natural Green possible, not only to offer products but concepts that are our north for sustainable development.
