Meridian Growers is the sales and marketing company for a group of California and Arizona growers and processors of almonds, pistachios, pecans and walnuts as well as a variety of other nuts and dried fruits. We strive to be the bridge between growers and users of dried fruits and nuts. While we are customer oriented, we never forget that without growers, we would not exist. We believe that while looking out for our customers, we can look out for our growers best interests as well. We supply large volumes of high-quality nuts and dried fruit products to customers worldwide for use in the snacking, baking, confectionery and manufacturing industries. A lifelong Clovis resident and a proud graduate of California State University, Fresno, Michelle has been an integral part of Meridian since 2006. Over the years, she has taken on various roles within the company, leading to her current position, where she oversees all marketing efforts and helps shape Meridian’s brand. Tyler Zion, Director of Sales at Meridian Growers, brings a diverse background in global affairs, intelligence, and leadership to the agricultural industry. Born and raised in the Fresno/Clovis area, he graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and a minor in Russian. While in college, he enrolled in Army ROTC and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Reserve, where he has served for the past six years, focusing on Signal and Civil Affairs throughout Southern California. Following graduation, Tyler joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), spending five years as a Tactical Specialist focusing on Public Corruption and Counterintelligence in the Los Angeles Field Office. In 2023, he transitioned to the family business at Meridian Growers, where he now oversees domestic and international sales of premium pistachios. In addition to his role at Meridian Growers, Tyler serves on the Government Affairs Committee for American Pistachio Growers, advocating for industry interests on a national level. #pistachios #nutindustry
